FIDE Candidates Tournament

GMs Wesley So and Alizera Firouzja are in a tight race to qualify for the 2024 FIDE Candidates Tournament by rating.

Thus far, GMs Nepomniachtchi, Praggnanandhaa, Caruana, Abasov, Gujrathi, and Nakamura have qualified. World #1 Magnus Carlsen has declined to participate.
